2) A good portfolio means higher chances of getting a job.
3) Having a good attitude plays an important role in maintaining a good relationship with your colleagues.
4) Use up every tool in your arsenal to expand your business. Tools such as Twitter or Facebook etc.
5) Have some dignity in your work and give the best so people will remember you for your work in the future.
3 things i was inspired by:
1) The speaker.
He answered every question without any doubts and is very knowledgeable in his field.
2) The presentation
The presentation is very neat and organised and it doesnt confuse me. I didnt have a hard time spotting the points he was talking about.
3) Working life
After he explained how working life was i had a rough idea of how tough it is gonna be. It kinda motivates me to study hard and know my stuffs well in detail.
Having a guest speaker to share with us is a great opportunity as i feel that they have gone through it all and has ample amount of knowledge to share with all of us. He can share with us things that are not directly related to the job such as having the right attitude to get along with your colleagues. No only that he can also tell us important tips to ‘survive’ in the working life. I feel that that is very important as to me, eventhought how good you are at your job, if you dont have a good working relationship with your colleagues then might as well find another job. Thus i feel that having a guest speaker is better comparing to reading it up online or just teaching it by book.
